This study had for objective to analyze the participation of the family in the process of special learning in of the reading and writing, of children of the initial series of Basic Ensino. For this, it was interesting to know as the families influence in the process of learning of the children and as if of a joint school-family. By means of the method of comment and study of case it was possible to observe as the parents of children of this phase of study conceive the importance of its paper in the process of escolarizao of its children. INTRODUCTION the present study is fruit of research made during all period of formation in the Course of Pedagogia, it has as main objective to analyze the process of learning of the reading and writing of the educandos of the series you initiate of Basic Ensino and the importance of the participation of the family in this process. A time that in comments of the possible causes of the deficiency of the Reading and Writing arose it hypothesis of that the main factor of the deficiency in the learning of these educandos is the absence of the family in the learning process.
In the current days, the importance of the reading is undeniable and to know to read, so that the citizens if integrate fully in the daily life, in professional terms, social and even of leisure. The great concerns with the role played for the reading and with the domain of the written code, in the modern society of the information are gifts the global level. Studies demonstrate that the formation of reading children starts very early, being the family the first institution to promote and to collaborate in this formation. Some studies put in evidence the role played for the family of the child, in the formation of the taste for the reading and of habits of reading.
